PCIA APPLAUDS THE LAUNCH OF THE NEW YORK STATE WIRELESS ASSOCIATION
(Albany, NY - March 6, 2007) - The New York State Wireless Association (NYSWA)
held its inaugural meeting, creating the fifteenth state wireless association.
Douglas Dimitroff, attorney with Phillips Lytle LLP, is the President of NYSWA.
The launch featured keynote speaker Michael Fitch, President & CEO, PCIA-The
Wireless Infrastructure Association.
"I am here today to emphasize the importance of the New York State Wireless Association,” said PCIA President & CEO Michael Fitch in his remarks. “Your association can help to inform decisionmakers here about the needs and benefits of the wireless industry.”
In his remarks, NYSWA President Dimitroff stated that there are many challenges to expansion of wireless infrastructure in New York State, so there is a very important mission for the Association. More than 200 people attended the first meeting.
